Detect and solve problems that can affect the safety and natural integrity of air, water and land. Protect and repair the environment by examining water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control and treatment, solid waste management and hazardous waste site remediation. As problem solvers for something as diverse as “the environment,” they also need to understand the most current technologies and have a desire to maintain a high level of learning in this rapidly evolving field.
