Civil engineers design and construct the infrastructure, facilities, and transit systems essential to modern life and solve environmental and public health problems on a global scale.
With Mines' hands-on curriculum, students dive in from day one. Hardrockers have made a record-breaking concrete airplane that flew straight into the pages of Popular Science and the New York Times. They've faculty combat Mongolian dust storms and built a greenhouse on the Pine Ridge Reservation here at home.
An Accelerated Master's Degree Program is available. The Accelerated Master’s Degree program enables a student to complete both the BS and MS degrees in as little as 5 years.
