University of Denver - Department of Geography & the Environment

The Geography Department offers undergraduate degree programs in both geography and environmental science. Students may tailor their degree program to suit their interests by selecting courses emphasizing physical geography and environment, human geography, and geographic information science, and the completion of the capstone Field Quarter experience provides an outstanding opportunity to synthesize their education through first hand experiential learning in the field. The U.S. Department of Labor has identified geotechnology as one of the three top career fields for coming years, and our program offers a variety of technology courses to provide students with a very marketable set of skills upon graduation.
